This weekend I went to Lancaster, PA to cheer Sweet Lips on as he rode his 1st bike race of the season. After the race we checked out some local artisans and I picked up the New Hearty Project Mascot (pictures to come...) from a Ray Briscoe who does not have a website! I loved his hand-carved figurines so much I almost offered to make him one. I also tried my hand at a new dessert for our Mother's Day Brunch... Cake Batter Crispy Treats. I was super pleased with the results and plan on trying other recipes from Jessica on How Sweet It Is. More sweat treats came in the form of my Aunt's Coconut Cupcakes, they were insanely good! She said the recipe came via Martha.
