A neat and fairly simple idea to do with your Instagram pics... Blow them up a bit and knock'em out of a circle. A series of three would make a nice impact or you can just purchase these and others at Marco Suarez's Etsy shop.

I'm not a quitter...
But I temporarily set this project aside after 2 frustrating tries. I mean I'm pretty crafty and skilled with my hands... I can make intricate corsets and drape original patterns for crying out loud, so why can't I get a freakin' friendship bracelet started??? I just found more instructive instructions below, so I plan on giving it another shot.

Embroidered Art... try it!
Reminds me of a DIY I've been wanting to do for quite some time now... A cross stitch pattern on canvas, first seen on ReadyMade. Also, might be cool to get your fave abstract (blurred) photo blown-up on canvas and add some stitch detailing. Ya know... in your spare time ;)

Friendship bracelets are like so "in" right now.
Peep these blinged-out versions... brings me back to summer camp. I'm adding these to my "To Do" list, right under file 2010 taxes. Purchase at Frieda and Nellie for $$$ or make your own here for ¢ OR make me one... I swear I'll be your best friend for like all of June.

Fakin' the Swank
With my limited funds and desire for a swanky barcart, this is what I've come up with...... Nice, huh? :)
My home bar set-up consists of:
-an unfinished wood shelf spray painted black (purchased at ikea)
-a metal tray spray painted chrome (purchased at ikea)
-two metal racks to hang glasses spray painted black (purchased at ikea)
-a wood wine rack cart (purchased at target)
-silver upholstery tacks
I hammered the tacks onto the edge of the shelf (very therapeutic) and added the metal racks underneath. My final touch will be to add a handle to the side of the cart, so I can hang cocktail linens (monogrammed of course!).
