This weekend I went to Artomatic in Crystal City, VA.
It's a free artist showcase that incorporates painters, sculptures, performing art, musicians, etc. They house all this creativity in a massive vacant building taking up 11 floors. I went during the day, but have a feeling the night scene might be more fun... live bands and bars on several floors.
