I'm no Scorpio, but I'm appropriating this for me:
Just hold on and get into the trenches of your responsibilities. While you can’t always feel happy-go-lucky, you can at least be productive; through the blood, sweat and tears of this week, you will have some deeper understanding of your life and where you want it to go. Sure, not the sexiest of ideas, but at least one that will bring results.

I'd like to be more selective with my hours

Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently.

The origin of keeping calm

I'm sure we've all had our fill of these "Keep Calm" riffs, but its origin is quite interesting, even more so why it's become such a pop culture phenomenon now... Are we really that "on edge"? I mean... I know I am but I guess everyone else needs the reminder as well.

Creative Mornings (Days & Nights)

I've been keeping my sanity lately by listening to the inspiring stories and encouraging, soul-searching words of other creative types. Creative Mornings provides a platform for a variety of artists, musicians, writers, etc. to share their creative process, life experiences and pass on gems of hard-earned knowledge. The series is spreading, adding more and more cities. I'm hoping Bmore or at least DC will make the list some day... Till then, you can catch inspiration thru these videos. They are usually 20 minutes of bittersweetness that make me not want to come back from my lunch break.
