I've been seeing some really cool book bags all over the web lately. I think I need one, more specifically, I I think I need one of these! Lusting over everyone of Herschel Supply Company's book bags. Nice details, sturdy construction, classic and stylish.

As much as cute lil icons are driving me nutty lately... I can't help but want this book. Cocktail recipes illustrated in an infographic style = great idea. The less guessing game the better... I like to get my drink right!

Simple Pleasures
I recently asked for my cousin Julie (aka Jules) 's Christmas wishlist. Jules is a 5 year-old bundle of dramatic wild-haired joy and quite possibly – my favorite family member. Pictured below:
Her wishlist seriously warmed my heart, here goes:
Snow Globe, Cupcake Maker, A Box with Password, Justice (the kids version of Express) Stuff (Clothes, Hat, Toy, Chair, a Small Make-up Box, Earrings, Mug, Pillow, Hair Stuff), a Book about Santa, a Photo Album and Flowers
Besides the snow globe, cupcake maker, box with password, book about Santa, photo album and flowers, it's just like mine... or not. I don't know... I guess my first thoughts were, "Awwhhh... to be young and so easily amused AND so easy to make happy." Not that I'm not happy, but it just takes alot more than a snow globe these days.
Below is a very reasonable wishlist I made for my Mama (aka Santa).

Established Needs
My co-worker and I started adding items to our imaginary wedding registry. It started with a discussion about us already being "established women". Meaning... We already have a lot of basic housewares and life's necessities. We've been out of the ramen-for-dinner phase for a long time now and "established women" make responsible purchases (most of the time).
First on my list was a Dyson vacuum (swivel ball, bells and whistles included). First on hers was a KitchenAid stand mixer. Not sure she knew about this one before requesting it, but now I might have to change my number one.
